Maria Antorka Georgiades

I’m a Senior UX / Product Designer based in Cambridge, UK, with 10+ years of experience designing digital products across fintech, SaaS and enterprise. I enjoy working on complex products where there’s a lot to untangle — understanding what users need, making sense of research and feedback, and turning that into simple, useful experiences. I work closely with product managers, engineers and researchers throughout the process, from early ideas and user flows through to prototypes, UI and implementation. My background is in visual and communication design, so I’ve always cared about how things look as well as how they work. Over time, that developed into a more product-focused approach, with a particular interest in design systems, clear interfaces and reducing unnecessary complexity. More recently, I’ve been exploring how AI can fit into the design process. I use tools like Cursor to analyse user feedback and product data, explore opportunities, review features against user needs and support design feedback for engineers. I see AI as a useful way to speed up analysis and explore ideas, while keeping the actual decisions grounded in UX judgement and context.
