Platform Navigation Redesign & Digital Rebrand
As Lead Product Designer at Mention Me, I led a comprehensive redesign of the platform navigation to simplify how users moved between key product areas. Embedded within a cross-functional squad of Product Managers and Engineers, I also spearheaded the product side of a full platform rebrand, translating the new visual identity into a modernized digital experience. The work spanned evolving the core design system for consistent UI patterns, and taking features from early exploration through to detailed implementation - consistently balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Overview
A comprehensive UX/UI overhaul of the platform's main dashboard, global navigation, reporting interfaces, and underlying information architecture.
Process & Collaboration
Applied the company's new branding guidelines across the updated interface designs.
Facilitated Design Sprint exercises to gather direct input and alignment from the product team.
Collaborated directly with other product designers on new, in-progress platform architecture.
Key Design Initiatives
Main Dashboard & Navigation Redesign: Transitioned the legacy dashboard into a modernized view and restructured the side navigation, which included detailed handover notes for development.
Data Exploration & Reporting: Designed the "Explore data" interfaces to handle complex reporting. Built a dedicated UI for users to generate, view, and manage their saved custom reports.
Metric Selection Menus: Created structured dropdown menus allowing users to easily filter metrics by Referral funnel, Referral revenue, Referral conversion, and Referral process.
Platform Information Architecture: Mapped out the comprehensive system flow, visualizing the hierarchy of main pages, sidebars, user actions, and integrations.
